The Creed of the Erosian
I love therefore I am. Without that connection of the heart I would surely drift away as a wisp of smoke does from an extinguished candle does in the cold night air. It is said that some men travel on their stomache, but I travel on my heart. It feels every bump in the road, the cut of every pain, and the absence of my most loved ones. I live for my love, eat to keep her alive, walk to take her to the places she adores, and cry to wash away her pain.
When I look into a moonlit pool I see Eros over my shoulder, ready to shoot again. I smile knowing he guards my heart, makes it strong, and rains down love upon it to make it grow. I love him for his attention, and take care to visit love on to all those I can as he does onto me. In the end we all will pass on without our cars, fancy houses, of piles of money. Nothing but our love to lead us on. I say again. I love therefore I am.
