Welcome to the shadows;
Here on the edge of reality we find fantasy,
romance, trajedy, and even comedy. If we
pay attention to what grows in the shadows
of reality, we may learn what is real, and
maybe even learn to understand. There is
much to be learned from our darker sides.
Look into the shadows and you are sure to
discover things you never thought you'd see.

Here in the "From the Shadows" segment we will show
the best poetry we can find each month. I will take
feedback as to what all you readers think is the best of
the peices we show each month. I will cut the competition
down to 5 peices each month. I am still hoping to get
responses from you, the readers, as to what peices
you like best. Don't desert me now in my hour of
greatest need, not...
Fantasy Kiss At first no more than a brushing of my lips along her cheek, her arms hold me like she needs me, I hold her like she is the tendril that allow me to grasp reality, for she is. Slowly her lips find my neck, barely moist she leaves a row of tiny kisses down to my shoulder. my hands run through her hair slowly massaging her neck, and then I take hold of her neck join our lips together. The Passion and flavor explode, she holds me even tighter her nails just starting to dig into my back. Slowly as I grasp her I lift her from her feet and lay her down in the soft grass, never letting our lips part. Though I am but kneeling she pulls me over her until we both lie on our backs in the grass. Finally our lips part, but there is no finality, no sadness for I know she is still there, she will stay with me, and I can kiss her again. 3/18/95
